Stop The Garbage!

It’s really a simple question.

Does San Francisco have the right to make 65,000,000 TONS of garbage and then dump it 25 miles from Winnemucca.

We’re sure that most of the folks who inhabit the Peoples Republic of San Francisco wouldn’t even think twice about that question.  Why, they’re entitled.

After all, it’s got to go somewhere and it might as well be way out there in flyover country where only rednecks and farm animals live.

These are the same people who sent Nancy Pelosi to Congress and want to stop us from generating electricity with coal in White Pine County and drilling for oil in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge because they don’t want us driving our big pickups and SUVs.

But they want to open a 590 acre scar in our earth, five miles away and uphill from the Rye Patch Reservoir, dump 65-MILLION TONS of waste in the scar and than tell us, “don’t worry, we’ll be good stewards of your lifestyle.”

We have a humble suggestion.

DUMP IT IN CANDLESTICK PARK!

This Just In!  Highlight Reel From the 10-8-9 Meeting Of The Humboldt County Regional Planning Commission:

And, finally, watch the Commission's Vice Chair exhibit some very questionable behavior.

The behavior of Humboldt County Planning Commissioner Rich Brown certainly calls into question his motivations. In this clip, from the 10-8-9 meeting, he, in order, stepped away from his position as Vice Chair so he could complain about the fact that a person who lives near him in rural Humboldt County has a fifth wheel as opposed to a mobile home on the acreage, then he overrides the Chairman of the Commission when a witness, Bob Dolan, looked to his rear while testifying in a public hearing and tried to have Dolan removed from the room. Brown is outspoken in favor of Recology's bid to place 2,550 acres of garbage from San Francisco in rural Humboldt County which Dolan was testifying against.  Brown, and the rest of the Commission spent a lot of time dealing with trailers and fifth-wheels but when it came to 2550 acres of garbage, not so much.
